Scope of Services

Basekonnet provides international errand services designed for Nigerians living in the diaspora. Our services include but are not limited to general errands such as shopping, deliveries, personal errands, and other custom services as agreed upon, events of all sort such as wedding, birthday, funeral, housewarming, reunions, launching, retirement parties, coronation, graduation party, cultural and religious celebrations, and other custom events as agreed upon

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
  • Nigerians or of Nigerian descent and individuals of all nationalities residing abroad with interest in Nigeria are welcome to utilize our services.

  • Payments can be made via the basekonnet website, app, bank transfer, credit card, or any other payment method we accept.
  • You are responsible for any additional costs incurred during the completion of your errand, including transportation, purchase costs, and other incidental expenses.

Use of Client Information

  • Data Collection: We collect and use personal information, including but not limited to your name, contact information, and payment details, solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
  • Data Security: We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All payment transactions are processed through secure channels and are not stored on our servers.

  • Third-Party Terms: By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of any third-party service providers engaged in the completion of your errands. We are not responsible for the actions, errors, or omissions of third parties.
  • Advertiser Relationship: We may work with advertisers or sponsors whose products or services may be available through our platform. However, we are not responsible for the actions of these advertisers or sponsors, nor do we endorse any of their products or services unless explicitly stated. The advertisement owners are also clear that those using their advertised services do so not at our risk

Limitation of Liability

  • General Limitation: Basekonnet will make reasonable efforts to complete your errands as requested. However, we do not guarantee the completion of any task due to circumstances beyond our control. When we are unable to perform your requests, a refund will be applicable depending on the specific circumstances of each situation. However, the maximum refund that could be applicable is limited to the total consideration amount.
  • Third-Party Liability: We are not liable for any losses, damages, or delays caused by third-party vendors, couriers, or other external factors except when these vendors are employed by us. Our total and cumulative liability in any instance will be capped at the consideration paid for the service.
  • Service Availability: We do not guarantee that our services will be available at all times or without interruption. We are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by service interruptions.

    Customers who choose can arrange their own insurance through the relevant module on the Basekonnet App when available.

Exceptions

  • Force Majeure: We are not responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performing any of our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, terrorism, failure of our app or governmental actions.

Termination

  • Termination by User: You may terminate your use of our services at any time by notifying us in writing. Any fees paid before termination are non-refundable.
  • Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
